Season 2021 General Poster

Our second season explores transformation through three uncommon classics found around the globe. A classic tale endures past its age because of its transforming effect on a person’s self-understanding. Though it may be reinterpreted as time goes by, something at its core remains. We are excited to show you three adaptations in different media.

In the Lake
In the Lake will be a short film based on a Belarusian urban legend similar to the famous tale of the lost city of Atlantis. This stop-motion short film will showcase the intricate paper-cutting folk art, vytynanky. Check out its YouTube world premiere in 2021.
